Our Wedding Photos

Casey and I got married July 29, 2006. These are just some of the highlights from our memorable day. I know these pictures are old, but I really wanted to put some of our wedding pics on our blog; it was one of the best days of our lives. We had all of our family and friends there to celebrate this new part of our lives. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special.

The first time Casey saw me...
My dad's boss/friend used to design/make wedding dresses and she made mine special for me. As a surprise, she embroidered this special heart at the bottom of my dress which has our initials in it.

Our wedding ceremony was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma

Since Casey doesn't like cake, but doesn't mind "cupcakes," we had a cupcake tree...isn't it cute!

The toasts...

Our first dance- We danced to Stand By Me, by Ben E. King

My dad and I performed a choreographed danced. We took dance lessons at Arthur Murray for a couple months to prepare. It was so much fun and a moment I'll never forget.

This is the only picture of Casey and his mom during the mother/son dance that she wasn't crying! lol, it was so cute! They danced to Rod Stewart's "Have I told you lately that I love you"

Casey's Police Academy Graduation

Casey's graduation from the Police Academy was November 18th, 2008. We were all so proud of him! He looks so handsome in his uniform! The academy was in Burien and lasted about 18 weeks, Monday thru Friday. Casey was voted squad leader and was also given an award for accruing additional aerobic hours outside of class. Casey asked his dad to do the honors of pinning him during the pinning ceremony; that was really special. I don't have all the pictures that were taken on my camera so when I get the others, I will add them!

Upon completion of the academy, each graduate's name was called and they rang this bell to signify their accomplishment

This pole contains flags representing each class that has graduated. Every person of the graduating class touches the pole and passes it on.

Beautiful Day at Rustin

Last week (03.06.09) Casey and I took advantage of the beautiful day we had and took the girls down to Rustin Way (the Tacoma waterfront). We went went for a long walk and just enjoyed the sunshine! It was so great! These pictures aren't the best because they're just downloaded from my cell phone, but I'm working on taking more pictures!
