June Graduations

I almost forgot to post pics from Landon's police graduation and my nursing graduation; we graduated about a week apart! These were super exciting days for both of us! The start of our new careers :)

My best friend from school, Krystal, pinned me.

Maternity Pictures...

Around 37 weeks, I decided to get maternity pictures taken.  At first I was hesitant to do these and wasn't really sure if I wanted to get them.  I'm so glad I did now.  They were so much fun to take and it's neat to be able to capture this special time forever.

Nate and Emily's Wedding- April 18th, 2009

So Keaton has already been to his first wedding...well, sort of!  Our great friends Nate and Emily got married in April.  What a fun wedding for an awesome couple!

Pregnancy...

I have to say that I feel really blessed to have had such an easy and great pregnancy.  I was able to finish school (never had to miss any days) and even work up until July.  I only experienced some nausea during December, but after that things were pretty smooth sailing.

Cravings?  Hmm, during December nothing sounded good except Auntie Anne's Pretzels!  Unfortunately, they are only located in the mall.  There were definitely a handful of times when I had Casey drive us to the mall, park in the loading zone right outside the mall entrance, and run in to get me some pretzels!  Lol, what a great guy.
Unfortunately what more happened is that I stopped liking certain foods...and for those of you that don't know, my food palette is pretty minimal as it is (grilled cheese, chicken strips, basically anything on a kids menu)!  One thing that I used to love was broccoli cheese soup and now I can't even stand the smell of it!

As everyone knows, this was one of the hottest summers the northwest has ever experienced; so much fun to be pregnant in!  Towards the last month I definitely experienced that "I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore!" feeling.  I was getting so uncomfortable and never could sleep.  The weeks before I delivered I thinkI was only averaging 4-5 hours per night because I wasn't tired, couldn't get comfortable, and couldn't stop cleaning/organizing (nesting!).

Again though, I can't complain.  I can only hope to have the same experience for the next pregnancy (okay not anytime too soon though!).  Anything and everything was worth it to have little Keaton in our arms :)
